It’s not ringworm and no amount of antifungal cream will make this better. Nummular eczema is often misdiagnosed as ringworm and treated incorrectly with antifungals when it is niether infectious nor contagious. Nummular eczema appears as coin shaped patches on the skin, is itchy, usually located on the trunk, legs and/or arms and may be more common in people with darker skin tones. Reducing shower temperature, limiting shower duration & using thick emollients (especially on damp skin) can help.
