Working with opal clay is one of my favorite parts of creating… but it can definitely be challenging!! 😅 It’s a firmer clay & sometimes it needs a little extra help to get soft, smooth and ready to work with. I love using Sculpey’s Clay Softener, just a couple drops can really help break the clay down & make conditioning so much easier. It takes time and patience but I’m a big fan of the results!! 🥰 a lot of artists like adding a bit of soft translucent clay to help too!! If you want to try it
